SUMMARY
We are looking for a versatile Housekeeper to take care of the cleaning, interior upkeep and general running of a family's private residences in Victoriaville.
The successful candidate will work independently to keep a well kept, organized, functional and comfortable environment that meets the principals' standards. The role calls for organization, discretion and a high level of autonomy.
The Housekeeper is responsible for the general upkeep and organization of the family's private residences, keeping the living areas clean, tidy and in good working order.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out the full cleaning of the private residences, including routine cleaning, dusting, floor care and the upkeep of bathrooms and kitchens.
- Handle the laundry and ironing.
- Do routine shopping, including groceries, cleaning products and various supplies.
- Prepare basic meals according to the family's needs.
- Organize storage areas, manage the seasonal rotation of furnishings and help with putting up decorations.
- Use basic computer tools to manage time and tasks.
- Keep a log of the work carried out.
- Keep an up to date record of suppliers, including contact details, service calls and follow-ups.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a housekeeper or in the upkeep of private residences.
- Excellent sense of organization and strong attention to detail.
- Impeccable discretion, reliability and professionalism.
- Able to manage priorities and to work independently and proactively.
- Good physical condition.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Permanent full-time, live-out position.
- Must have a vehicle and a driver's licence; a vehicle is provided for work purposes.
- Must have legal status to work in Canada.
- Location: Victoriaville, Quebec.
